I need the help of ALL you informed souls that say abreast of DISH related info. As a long time 12+yr
customer I'm like Rodney Dangerfield cant get no respect. I know you have all been there.

To the chase: What would you do if you had no remaining commitment to DISH? I have the "Everything
Pak" with 2 622 leased receivers, gold and platinum HD
A $150.00 autopay bill each month and all the customer
service, billing, programming and general headaches as
the rest of you.

I wont go into all the details but if you are a customer you know already the things that pop up causing those
maddening calls to a csr, awaiting the end of their spiel so you can request a 2nd line supervisor etc.

Seriously, what would you do????

There are so many offers out there for new customers
that beat the pants off my deal I dont even know how to start to negotiate for a new deal or even
with who.(without starting at square 1 csr).

Who has the POWER (please dont suggest Charlie) to
make things right and satisfy we long time existing
customers. Please help us all out. Who is it and whats
the real phone# to the powers that be?

Thanks for listening-Not just for me but for ALL the poor slobs like me. Please get me all the info you can on
the Who's & Phone#s and I promise I will be back with
some answers and valuable info you can use.

What to do-What to do????

Thanks in advance
Sami

No one gets in two see the wizard. No way! No how!

"The Powers that Be" depends on what you're talking about. From the above, you're taking the usual grass-is-always-greener approach which means you'll be playing CSR roulette or someone will croak out the CEO address (or give you the CSR hotline masquerading as an executive office *cough*) and tell you that'll solve all your problems. The reality is in near-all cases if you want the best equipment, programming and options you WILL need to re-up under contact. After all, what's the point of spending money on you if you can leave tomorrow?

You do it like everyone else, start with a tier 1 CSR, whine and whine and whine, and maybe a 2nd line supervisor will take pity on you and give you something. If that doesn't work, you threaten to quit (please, like everyone thinks that really doesn't happen) and they'll give you half of what you're asking for and probably still want a contract.

There ARE people who can snap their fingers and make your wettest dreams come true. There's about five total between here and DBS forums, but I wouldn't expect to be talking to them anytime soon. :eureka

Samiwax call and ask for what you want, evaluate what is offered, accept or reject offer. Now you can move to D* and partake of their great offers of course you will be kicking yourself for dropping the great 622 that wasn't good enough for you any longer. The grass isn't always greener and the new products aren't always better, most new DISH products come with a year of debugging.
