Help with 722k

Yesterday I was watching TV like normal then 013 error came up on a subscription channel. Yes the bill is paid and everything is fine. Now the 722k only gets free preview channels and not the normal ones. Tried calling dish to remove the receiver then re add and still nothing

I'm not getting a warm-fuzzy for our ViP 211k receivers up north. Hopefully it's a temporary glitch and your 722k gets the Authorization Hit.

does external HDD still work on 211k? or am i better off using something like a 612

Did DiSH suggest removing and re-adding it to account? That seems a dubious tactic. If rebooting and calling for re-hit doesn't get it going, then they should refer you to tech support. They may say that they are all tech support, but you can ask for "advanced tech support" or to speak with a supervisor. They will also probably bombard you all along the way to upgrade to hopper.

So you said, and like I said, that seems dubious, as in probably not helpful. Where did you get the idea to try that, from DiSH? Ultimately, if they did previously activate it for you and now it's not working for any reason, you can ask for a replacement 722. Just be prepared to stand your ground
