I took your advice and they still said sorry. I think it is because I came over from Dish 4 months ago and they know I won't want to pay the early term fees. I think I'm just going to pick one up off of Amazon (through a DTV dealer) brand new for $250 delivered. I'll keep my fingers crossed...

Yep, she felt me but couldn't reach me. Any other advice as far as buying from internet vendors "brand new" HR20? vs DTV. Personally, I'm a bit uncomfortable not buying from DTV but maybe that's their plan... thx

I am trying to weigh the pros/cons of just purchasing the $299 upgrade from DTV vs purchasing the same unit from an internet vendor. Support is the main issue that comes to mind. Can anyone give me some input? I can save around $50 but that is not a large amount of cash if there are major gotchas.

I have the Choice/HD package and I do not remember seeing those three either until Saturday mornning but I couldn't swear to it.

Strange, NBC was the only network "this weekend anyway" that was problem free. CBS was almost unwatchable due to the frequent pixelation problems during the NFL game (off-air included!). Fox was just about as bad but more on the audio side.

It is definitely the CBS and FOX network feeds bcause I went out and slapped my HD antenna on the side of the house and got the exact same problems; pixelation every couple of minutes on CBS and pixelation and intermittent sound problems with FOX. this all day while the NFL games were on.

I have this sync issue with both HD and SD and sometimes during a movie the sound will drop off for a second or two and come back on. this will continue during the movie roughly every 10 minutes. I called them and of course they have never heard of it.
