I currently have a standard 2 room dvr and wanted to upgrade to hdtv 2 room dvr. I called dish and they advised me it was $149. Is there anyway around the $149? Will the retention department give it to me for free?

I just tried to order it and was told san diego only, and only for new subscribers. Also 9.99 per month extra, plus dvr fee, and you have to get a 2wire router for 79.99...she gave me the number to at&t dish network customer service who did not know about homezone.

Is homezone there for people in southern california, current customers or not?

no i am not sure...ha but the problem is that i think that there is no channel where a singal is not broadcast on so i have to figure out how to amp the rf out signal to overtake that channel
