Well, I guess that was my question...I don't want to pay the extra 10 bucks for their HD. Will they still let me get the 722k as long as I buy the OTA module and the bronze package? Wasn't sure if they'd give me an HD receiver if I wasn't paying for any HD service from them.

I'm thinking of coming back to dish after being away for a couple of years. Right now, I only have an OTA setup in my house (attic antenna). My question is...will dish let me get a 722k, not pay for their HD services (just get a basic bronze or family package), but still allow me to use my OTA...

If you're like me, you got a letter from SBC stating that we are allowed to drop Dish service from them and continue on with just "normal" Dish service. I can see how this letter might have gone unnoticed as it appeared to me to just be junk mail, but for some reason, I didn't throw it away...

I read how they are spooling out beta software for the Media Portal for SBC/AT&T customers, but does anyone have any concrete info for their HD plans? Will the Media Portal ever be released? Will we ever get 622? So confused. :confused:

I'm actually trying to use the NBA League Pass website. I guess AT&T/SBC Dish customers are out of luck in being able to use the NBA online features. I hope that's not true.

Reason I'm asking is that NBA League Pass can now be viewed online if you are a current subscriber. The only way to access is it to enter in your Dish Network account number, but since I have AT&T/SBC Dish, my account number is my phone number, and that does not give me access. It says it...

Why can I only see what's on NBA TV if I look at channel 402 in the programming guide? I only get NBA TV on channel 560, but whenever I want to see what is on, all it ever says on the onscreen guide is "NBA LEAGUE PASS". I have to view channel 402 in the guide to see what's on channel 560...

Finally got things figured out on my end. I get Dish through SBC and I finally got a hold of someone who knew what they were talking about. Turns out that SBC/Dish subscribers do not get the League Pass automatically renewed like standalone Dish subscribers, which is why I saw 560 disappear...

Long time reader, first time poster... Put in an order for a 522 a couple of months ago. Naturally, I wanted the 522 installed in my main living area, since that is where my home theater is set up. The problem in installing it was that my interior coax line was installed by my homebuilder...
