I thought because of the way the RSNs were transported (using all cable, and no sat transmission), they don't have to give the HD signal to DirecTV. This sucks, because I'd like to be able to watch the Giants on FSN Bay Area.

Maybe your wife - mine skips the commercials with our DirecTivojust as quickly as I do. I don't think she EVER watches a commercial on recorded shows.

That, along with the absence of an MPEG4 HD DVR, is the main reason I'm not upgrading to MPEG4 now.

Rad, are you using any diplexers near the receiver to split OTA and satellite signals, or are you using a separate cable from the antenna to the receiver for OTA signals? I'm asking because I currently use diplexers, and it would be difficult for me to run additional cables if I could no...

And another question for those of you who have upgraded - are you able to view any other HD channels via OTA antenna, on your H20 receiver?

I called 8 weeks after sending in the stupid form and got a $100 credit on my account.

I ordered an upgrade for next week, and was told I'd have to give them my old receiver as part of the upgrade. But, due to the fact that it's not possible to carry OTA signal and sat signals on the same cable, and use a diplexer to split out at the box, I'm thinking I'll cancel the upgrade...
