I'm switching to D in the next few weeks. I signed up for the MRV service. I only have 2 TVs in my house, but I wanted the ability to record up to 4 shows at once and watch them on either TV. I am correct to do this I would need 2 HDDVRs?

I just moved in with my parents temp (building a house). They have direcTV, while I'm used to Dish. Is there a way to increase the number of hours that show up on the guide grid? It is an HR-23 Receiver, and it only shows 6 lines with 1.5 hours of showtime at once on the guide.

At least the TW subs will get to see Dream 9.. it looks like a pretty good card. Plus, Jose Canseco vs. Hong man choi! Too bad they won't be able to see Jose win the tournament in the future. Ha! On another note, HDNet is one channel I would change providers for, if my current one stopped...

This may just be some "hardball" negotiating tactics being played by TW. From what I've read Cuban says there may still be a chance things will work out. Hopefully so, because TW dropping it would be a big hit to the HDNet channels I would think

I would be pretty mad if I was a Time Warner sub. Imagine all the Japanese MMA and K-1 I would miss, not to mention they have the best MMA recap show Inside MMA on friday nights. HDNet is a must have in our house.

I complained about not getting any HD channels added to the Silver TurboHD package to a CSR on online chat, after asking how long was left on my contract, and she upgraded me to classic Silver and gave me $5/mo and my Showtime free for 6 months. I'll have to re-evaulute after the 6 months, but...

Still having the same problem here as well. I found that it is worse watching shows recorded off of FOX during animation domination. I just started recording fox on sunday nights in SD. That is the only time that I have unbearable sound drop outs.

I also have the Charlotte locals and have not noticed problems like you are describing. I've had audio dropouts, but they say that is a software issue and are working on it.
