I got an HDTV, and I'm upgrading to the 811 reciever. Is there any other satellite equipment needed (such as some new LNB?). I noticed some LNB's have HDTV logo's and some don't.

Say you have a SuperDish (121) & Dish 300 (61.5). There are channels that come on both birds but at different channel #'s. Random Example: Internation Channel for "ANTEN" (Greek Programing) is on: Satellite 148 - Channel 605 Satellite 121 - Channel 720...

Whats the difference? I'm in 20854 (Maryland). Are both the satellites (61.5 and 148) broadcasting the same stuff? If so should I just point to which one gives the best LOS?

Does that switch join the RG6 cables coming from both Dishes into 1 RG6 going to the reciever?

switch the installer just said theres no switch coming from the dish 500 until the must carry dish is installed. does that sound right? as of right now its just 1 dish 500 and 1 reciever.

switch You know, I didn't even see a switch. The RG6 from the satellite looks like its going straight to the reciever. Is that normal, or am I just not seeing the switch.

I have a 1 room setup currently. If down the road I choose to add a 2nd or 3rd room to the service, can I just split the signal coming in the house with a splitter or is other hardware required?

I contacted Dish and I think I will activate a 2nd account to keep everything clean and simple.
