I used a Hose clamp, put the thread area of the clamp toward true south, and the motor bracket would rest on the clamp. I loosened the nuts just enough to allow some rotational movement of the whole assembly and the hose clamp kept the motor from sliding down the pole.

Side arm length is 100cm ( 39 3/8" ) and the bottom one is 72cm ( 28 3/8" ) measuring from the face of the dish.

How about a polar mount for 120cm offset and prime focus dishes using an 18 inch actuator (if possible)? that is something I sure could use.

I just acquired a Coolsat 8000 HD, and my question is does the optical cable have to connected to a Dolby 5.1 Surround system to get the use of the AC3 audio, or can I get AC3 audio with the RCA connectors connected to the TV and or the stereo system?

If you are talking about using an H-H motor (SG2100 type) Try connecting a cable from your receiver to your motor, then a cable from your lnb connector on your motor to a 4 port Diseqc switch, then port 1 to your lnb on the motorized dish. Ports 2 and 3 to the lnb's on your stationary dish
