Go into the menu on the HD Tivo, somewhere in there you'll find some video settings. Fiddle with them and you might find something that helps.

If possible run a dedicated line up for the broadband. I don't know for certain but I think some cable modems send back incompatable voltage to the multiswitch. Wish I could be of more help.

I don't do a lot of broadband so I may be off here, but, I was under the impression that some cable modems have a backfeed that will interfear with the multiswitches ability to work properly. Could be I'm thinking about the powered 4-5x8s.

That will not work. Of all of the multiswitches that are Phase III compatable that I am currently aware of, they REQUIRE all 4 lines from the PHASE III dish to be hooked up. Simply running 2 lines from the Triplesat to the 8way Phase III compatable switch is NOT going to work.
