Like many Bell subscribers in the "southern provinces", I am thinking of switching to Shaw. But, before I switch, is there any likelihood of Shaw doing the same thing as Bell (moving their footprint north) to accomodate northern Canada subscribers?

But it sounds like, at best, I can only get the Bell HD channels because I probably can only get the 82W signal. So if there is a channel I like on SD only, I won't get it. So maybe it's time to switch to Shaw and forget all this nonsense! What dish is recommended for Shaw at my latitude?

Sorry for the dumb question - I subscribed (without any issues) with Expressvu for the last 10+ years and never had any problems: If I get a 90CM dish and point it to the 82 satellite (and it works), will I only get the Expressvu HD channels? Or do I somehow get everything? I don't understand...

But... How does my EHD "know" I have an active account? I can't get any signal from the 91 satellite anymore and my phone is not connected but the PVR part still works. I can play all my old recordings now, even though I can't get any live Expressvu TV. Are you sure I can't just use my EHD...

I have an HD dish that is only around 20 inches wide. Is that not worth trying? Since I don't already have a 90 cm dish, would you recommend just switching to Star Choice?
