Could part of the problem be that Dish uses 2 archs and Direct does not. If Dish wanted to carry an RSN in HD full time then would they contractualy have to have it available on both archs. That way a multisport sub in LA can watch non Mets games on SNY in HD, like they can in SD? Just a...

Why would the signal levels be so different from transponders off the same sat. Ex on 72.7 I get low 40s on TPs 1 and 13, but upper 20s on 32. If it is the same sat then why would the reception be so different?

When pro sports run past the amount of time in the guide the event becomes unblocked. Last night the Mets and the Rays both played longer than the guide and both games then became available. Most nights the end of a few games will become available.

I agree. The Wed Indians Sox game is not listed at being in HD on STO (Fortunatly it is on WGN) The Fri Sat Sun and Mon Indians games are not listed in the guide as being in HD. Fortuntaly the Mon games is the Indians home opener and will be on WKYC in HD as well as STO.

Did you try setting the timer for the 5000s range channel, rather than the HD mapdown to the SD channel number?

I wonder if those of us with DishAmerica and greater will get it.

I am on EA and I do not see any HD baseball games on the Alt channels nor STO (431) past 4/5 Maybe a sign that they will light up full time HD RSNs on 4/7 for EA?

This morning the 4/5 game is showing as availabe on STO HD. Nothing for the 4/7. Good thing that one is also on WGN HD

Yesterday the 4/5 and 4/7 Indians games were showing as being available on the STO HD Channel (431). Now they are not. The guide just reads SportsTime Ohio HD. Perhaps this is a sign that they will launch them as a full time HD channel on 4/5. I know wishfull thinking. Hopefully it dosen't...

I just noticed that the ESPN2 feed of the Indians vs WhiteSox game is not listed as blacked out yet in my guide, and I guarantee that it will since I am in the Indians territory. That makes me think that Dish just hasn't set things up for the MLB season yet.:rolleyes:

The guide for 4/5 is populated, however; none of my RSNs have the MLB games listed on the HD feed.

Yesterday I switched from AT120 plus with HD to DishAmerica Gold. I am no longer getting the Platinum HD channels. Are they not available with DishAmerica? I am unable to add them online

Pittsburgh HD and SD locals were uplinked to 77 today!
