I would like to see Voom muck its cards and fold HD News. I watched it for maybe two or three days when I first got Voom. I get my HD news through WRAL (looks better too). HD News is a repetitive 3 or 4 minute reel. I rank it right up there with Ultra HD.

I want to buy my dad an HDTV for Xmas, since he likes to watch TV and I know he likes my HDTV. Anyway, he currently has a 36" Mitsubishi, and I do not want to decrease the size of the TV i buy him vertically. A 34" would be a little small I think. Sony offers a 40" 4:3, but I want to buy him...

I'm hearing the announcers loud and clear on Voom. Come to think of it, my neighbors also probably hear the announcers for the game. I wonder what channel they were trying to watch before?

Awesome, watching it now on my OTA ABC (WTVD). Anyone know if ABC will be broadcasting every Monday Night Football game in HD and 5.1? For what little HD content I have seen on ABC, the one game a week would more than make up for it.

It is definitely not too late to bring up the issue of OTA. I have had 2 service calls in addition to my install. I have found that Voom will try and please the customer, so do call and express your concerns. It will be attented to. But do not try and move or adjust anything yourself as per...

I had a service call scheduled for today (OTA upgrade and dish problems). The guy came at 3, but was supposed to be here between 8 and 12. Anyway, he moved the dish on the roof, as I thought he should. I went from never having above an 80 sat signal, to mid-nineties at worst. Also, he moved...

Similar problems seem to abound... On my initial install, the installers mounted the dish and Winegard Sensar on the side of my house. I have never gotten above an 80 satellite signal quality, and only after the software upgrade have I been picking up my 1 out of maybe 15 OTA channels...

My signal strength on OTA channels also jumped to 80-90, howver there was no real change in the signal strength. My OTA channels constaly dropout. I think there have been more threads on this...

I had an appointment last saturday to tune my OTA antenna once again. Got the same results, two channels (CBS and ABC) only coming in sporadically and constantly dropping out. I figured I would wait until the new software came out to see if that made any difference. Got the new software...

When I went to bed, my box did not show that it was targeted. However, it must have downloaded the new software during the night, because when I woke up it was completely dead. Tried the soft reboot and factory reset. Nothing, it goes through the reboot process, but nothing ever comes up. So...

I called Voom today for the 3rd time in as many days regarding my dead receiver. CSR told me she added for the tech coming on Friday to re-tune my antenna to check all of the connections to my box and dish. I have already done so, and attempted to tune my OTA antenna. I don't understand why...

I sure hope escalation helps and helps fast. I have an OTA issue which is supposed to be addressed this Friday with a service call. I just don't know how easy it will be to tune or replace my antenna if I can't even get into the menus or see a picture.
