    DECA BroadBand and Wireless

I think I have this straight, but haven't been able to confirm by looking at the posts regarding MRV. I am getting MRV installed in a couple of weeks. They are also bringing the DECA BroadBand adapter so that I can hook into my network for VOD. I am planning on attaching the BraodBand adapter...

    MRV "Unable to Access Media"

Here is my latest update. I have set both of my WET610N ethernet bridges to static IP's through the bridge software and my router. I can still see both DVR's and can still delete recorded programs on both DVR's. I can play content recorder on HR-20 through my HR-21, but I can't play content...

    MRV "Unable to Access Media"

Currently they are dynamically set through DHCP. I have read that this might be causing the issue. I am going to change them to static IP addresses this weekend and see if that helps. Still learning all this networking stuff. I'll let you know if this works.

    MRV "Unable to Access Media"

I have set up MVR on both my HR20-700 and my HR21-700. They are connected though a wireless N network. Network services work on both DVR's, and I can get VOD content. I can see the combined playlist on both DVR's, and I can delete shows on both DVR's. However, when I try and play something from...

    HR10-250 OTA Reception

I tried tweaking my setup again last night. Changed the attenna direction, ran the OTA directly into the tv, then the DVR, then split the signal and ran to both. I am still getting a better picture on the tv. My signal strength on the DVR fluctuates badly. I get my new attenna tomorrow. I...

    HR10-250 OTA Reception

Thanks for all the input. What signal strength is everyone getting on the OTA feeds with the H10. Mine are in the 60 range, which I believe could be causing the problem. I ordered a new attenna today (Channel Master 4228) with a pre-amp. I'll let you know how it works.

    HR10-250 OTA Reception

Thanks. I have tried sending the antenna feed directly to the DVR without a splitter and get the same problem. I have a Terk TV50 amplified antenna (I know it is not a great antenna). I am looking at other antenna's, but found it strange that I would get good reception on my tv, but poor...

    HR10-250 OTA Reception

I just got a new HR10-250 installed. I am having trouble with my local HD channels when viewed through the DVR. I have split my attenna signal and the signal running straight to the TV looks great, but I get a lot of pixalation problems when watching through the DVR. Is this normal? Any...

    New at9 Install Questions

I am getting the new dish and a new HD-DVR installed on Saturday and have a few questions. I currently have a SD-DVR that will be replaced. I have 2 cables running to the DVR with the OTA feed running through those cables, to the diplexor just before the DVR. I have the OTA feed running...

DirecTv HD DVR - Newbie Perplexed

First time posting since I just joined the HDTV world. I purchased an HDTV this past weekend. I have hooked up an antenna and get good HD reception on all 4 major networks (but poor SD reception on all networks). I live in Washington, so we have the HD locals available. I am considering...
