Yes. The website I went on calls it a bracket, but it is the feedhorn that attaches the LNBF to the arm.

The dealer I contacted recommended the Eagle Aspen 270 Ku Band Dual Output Linear LNBF. He sells the refurbished CM dual output single polarity LNBFs and single output dual polarity LNBFs, but they don't come with the LNBF holder. Will the Eagle outperform a good standard LNBF on this dish?

I contacted a dealer who has new CM 84e dishes made from the original CM molds. The new ones are made of hard plastic. Does anyone have any experience with these? The high winds have badly warped two metal 36" dishes in the past two years. Will the CM 84e hold up better? TIA

Sadoun, thanks for the contest. Everything I have learned about FTA has come from the SatelliteGuys forum and the sponsor's websites. I appreciate all the help I have received during the last few years.

I didn't hear the spot Moses Primo did on 3ABN, but I did check their website and found this page: 3ABN: Christian Television - Three Angels Broadcasting Network - www.3abn.org which explains their rationale for going to HD. Maybe this will shed a little light on the subject.

Thanks for the leads on the remotes. The ones Sadoun sent thumbnails of will work with some boxes but not with most of the FTA units. I contacted Hy-Tek Manufacturing who makes those remotes and none that they make have learning capabilities. No joy! But the folks who make the Weemote...

Tony, Have you had a chance to check out the monoblock or are you still in the middle of winter?

I hope that it is only a jumper problem. But even after removing the jumper you may still have to run the Maxtor install disk to remove the drive overlay completely from the drive to have everything work properly. YMMV

torp74, Not knowing the age of your computer, my guess that the reason the drive overlay was used in the first place was because the computer's bios would not recognize a drive over 32 gig. By repartitioning the drive in anything other than the drive overlay program, (if the bios is the issue)...
