    I'm beginning to think that only the male species is capable of recognizing HD when they see it. Probably 20 female relatives and friends have seen my HD programming. Exactly two have had the "Wow" reaction. But every male has.

    Stupid Newbie Question

    Thanks! Under "Output Mode", I can check 1080i only, 720p only, 480p only, and 480i only. Should I change it based upon whether, say, a football game is 1080 or 720? Would the difference be discernible? Or should I leave it on 1080i where it currently is?

    I have the Dish 921 DVR receiver. I have a nice new Sony HD TV. Everything is going great, but I have this question: should I be changing anything (using the remote) when an HD show is broadcast in 720 as opposed to 1080? And vice-versa?
