Yes, it was quite the feature laden receiver. A bit of a pain to get it set-up and working properly, but very slick once it was. There was also a re-badged version sold by General Instruments.

Sorry, can't help you with the DVBWorld 2104D. Have been using a DVBWorld 2104C on Windows 7 for quite a while. (using 'Device Manager', it displays: 'Driver Date 4/23/2010' and 'Driver Version 3.0.0.1')

Comes in fine here (3920 on SES2 @ 87W). Using DVBViewer with a Prof 7500, using LAV codecs for h.264 video and for AAC audio. As Trip told you, it is probably a codec issue, &/or MyTheatre.

The actuator arm only controls the dish movement. You are having to adjust your elevation at your extremes (east/west) because your alignment is off.

I still use AltDVB once in a while. There is a bda driver for it out there, and it does work on DVB-S2. Sichbo is free (no recording function unless you make donation), but haven't tried it. DVBViewer is popular and relatively inexpensive. And once you pay for it, can get TransEdit for free.
