    DIRECTV NOW LAUNCH

Not yet. Coming in a few weeks. Word is that Roku is doing a major OS upgrade, so DirecTV is waiting for that to be completed to test the new app.

    DIRECTV NOW LAUNCH

In another forum a poster said their Apple TV won't arrive for 2-3 weeks. So if you want it quick, you may want to check your local AT&T store.

    DIRECTV NOW LAUNCH

I actually just found the answer on Forbes.com. Since there is no DVR functionality, there would be no pausing either. I'll have to wait to next year it seems if I want DirecTV Now.

    DIRECTV NOW LAUNCH

So with no current DVR functionality, does it also mean that you won't be able to pause (ff/rew) a live broadcast?

Advice on setting up new DISH service

I got in with this deal along with free Netflix before the deadline. The deal is still on minus Netflix now. I also used a $50 referral code plus the keyword "SWITCHNOW" which scored me a $200 VISA card. So all in all not bad. Looking forward to the Hopper 3.

So we're switching back from Dish to DirecTV after 4 years...

Your correct, as I have been going back and forth between the two for 19 years. At least DISH is offering a 3 year price lock guarantee (we'll see how that goes). For me though, I prefer D* channel lineup packages over DISH.

Ready to jump ship from DISH to D*

I'm getting ready to go back to Dish from D*. Is your new antenna pointed in generally the same direction as the Dish you replaced?

So we're switching back from Dish to DirecTV after 4 years...

I'm doing just the opposite, going back to Dish for like the 5th time. DirecTV has been good for the past two years, no problems with signal or equipment. Had a couple of small price hikes though.

    3 Year Price Lock Details

The only hold up for me is completing the basement "man cave". I would like to go with a wireless Joey for that. Would there be an additional cost if I order the Joey after installation? Also, I will need a Joey in the MBR. I have a coax in that room but no ethernet. Should I just order a...

    3 Year Price Lock Details

Thanks. I will go ahead and sign up before this one ends. Try to push the install date back a few months (for construction), then if the new offer is better than the old, I can cancel, wait a bit and sign up for the new. Win-win.

    3 Year Price Lock Details

So I may want to lock in now and push back the install date a bit?

    3 Year Price Lock Details

Will the 3 year price lock end 4/4/16 or just the deal with the free one year of Netflix? Is there anything new coming down the road? I am waiting to finish remodeling my home before I will need TV service. I hope to be finished by June/July.

    3 Year Price Lock Details

I want to make sure that I'm also clear on this since today is the last day of the 2-year price lock special. Signing up today (2yr) I would pay $49.99 which includes a FREE Hopper 2 DVR for two years. Sign up tomorrow (3yr lock) I would pay $49.99 PLUS $15 DVR fee and get the Hopper 3...
