    My experience today while looking to return did not give the option for a hopper 3, it was limited to the hopper 2 so it's possible that either they do not have any in their inventory or they are trying to empty their remaining stock of 2's if it's being replaced by the 3.

    Clean the spring and contact pads with acetone or a high grit number sand paper, oxides build up on these as does other things and can create an insulator that reduces or even blocks the flow of current into the device.
