    Your best bet is a DTV 18 in. round with a single lnb. Much easier to deal with .a little smaller and also the correct part. You should be able to pick one up Used for little money. If you know anyone who had Voom and has the old dish it is just what you need.

    The best tip i could give you is to stay with your Tivo ! What do you want from DTV that you are having these troubles ? Not too bias i just like receivers that do the job,without all the software glitches and other stated problems,here and elsewhere.

    They wont allow a dish yet you are allowed to mount a 12' pole (to the eave) ??? Dont you have a balcony or something where you can set something up ? There are options other than (Permanently mounting)
