i still havent seen no start over like they are talking about, its not like twc start over, because when you change the channel on dtv there is nothing that says about starting the program over from the beginning.

Yep that's what dtv did to me also they will give me sd. Locals which look like analog so I got time warner with the series 4 HD TiVo for the local channels in HD I tried over and over and filed waivers with dtv even for the distant locals in HD and they would not even grant them the pbs net on...

where i live i have directv and timewarner cable, the sd channels are bad on directv, the cable channels they dont compress like dtv does, and it gives me great pic quality, and no i dont use the dvr from the cable company, i have the series 4 hd tivo xl it rocks !!! i also have the hr22 for dtv.

as long as you have an hd dvr or rec. you cannot get away from the hd access, they still charge you the 10 extra for having a dvr or rec. plus if you change your package you will not be able to go back to the package you have now, because dtv discontinued that one, the lowest package they offer...
