I saw a couple of anolog recivers in a antique shop the other day. should i go buy one to control the dish. The bud has a analog lnbf. Does it need replaced with a digital lnbf?

ok, I will admit, I am a fta junkie. I have two 36inch dishes one on amc4 and one on amc21. My brother has a 36inch direct tv hd dish. however it is only 36inches wide on the horizontal plane (oval). probably only 20inches tall. you guys know what I am talking about. do you think it would work...

It does not bother me to hear it all of the time, but it makes me wonder how long it will last running 24-7. I guess if you say they did not come out with a fan. If it burns up I will still be ok. thanks

I have a 36inch geosat dish with a universal lnb, running a coolsat 8000. I get everything on amc21 ecept for LPB. i get no signal at all , from what i read it is hard to get, is it even worth moving the dish for or is it a lost cause. too weak?

I have purchased a used coolsat 8000. everything works fine, exept the fan never shuts off, even in standby mode. Is this correct, is there a setting for this thanks

fta echostar trying to get ion on echostar 119. with a dish pro plus 500 what is the best transponder to tune into to get both 110, and 119 if i tune to 12414 i miss some of the other transponders. :cool:

so if i wanted 125w and needed to tune to 12179-v-30000 I can rename a sat not in use, I will try but I did not see a sat that had 12179 available, I will look again. I did not try the sats east of the Atlantic. thanks
