I've been with Dish Latino Max from the start because I really want the History channel (english version), Travel Channel, DIY, BBC America ESPN and ESPN2. Both packs are a great deal but yeah, DOS is super cheap if you can live without the "headliner" stations that the MAX package includes.

Worked out great. Everything I was missing from my 61.5/72.7/110 setup were added to either 72.7 or 110. The channels that wound up on 77 were already on or were just added to 110. So, if you have trouble picking up 77 like I do in upstate, NY you can now easily do an "alternate" eastern arc...

you're only going to need 61.5 and 72.7 which you can easily get with one dish 500 with 2 single lnbs on a Y yolk. Just add a little extra space (about .75") between the lnb eyes. If you do a search on the forum for "61.5 72.7" you'll get some good how-to info.

I just wish they'd support Linux as I refuse to connect any of my laptops to airport wifi networks anymore after a vicious worm got into my windows machine and someone got access to my banking logins. Till then I'll just stick to using the wine version of the slingplayer client on my ubuntu...
