Broadband The ethernet connection failed today on my 722, it worked fine 9 hrs ago. I called DiSH and they stated in might be a new software problem they are working on. I can ping my receiver without any problems.

Slingbox I have a like set up: 622, Maxtor EHD, and Slingbox AV. I have had no problems using this set up. I don't think the problem is inherent with the 622.

If you signal meter is varying wildly, it may be a multipath problem.

Onkyo Same problems with controlling the Onkyo except for the successful control of volume. I too bought a Harmony remote and am extremely happy.

Ota Hdtv I live approx 16 miles from my local HDTV transmitters. I found that if I added an amplifier to improve reception on a low powered station, that the signal from the other strong stations would actually diminish. I believe it has something to do with overloading the HDTV tuner.

They just installed my DiSH system. Everything went well no problems or complaints. My installer was an indepedant contractor. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine.

921 My 921 has worked well. I have had a few minor hiccups which were easily cured with a power button reboot.

EPG Question The answer to the question is that you must have a 121 connection to receive the OTA EPG data. Thanks to Jason Nipp for his help.

I live in an area where the local channels are on the 121 degree satellite. I don't have the required dish to receive them. Can I still expect the OTA EPG to show the OTA program info using my Dish 500?
