    OTA Broadcast Paths (Bounce) Wanted

Good Tip Hey Tower Guy, Thank you for the good tip. I would have assumed (there's that word again) that the strongest signal would have produced the best signal, but if I get your drift, along with the stronger signal, I may be getting more "Bounce's" thereby producing more multipath problems...

    OTA Broadcast Paths (Bounce) Wanted

Hey HT, Thanks for the good data source. I'm gonna give up and just except the fact that my OTA TV signal is bouncing off something and making it's way to me. I'm going to install a rotor at 40 feet, the largest VHF/UHF (in my area, DTV is being broadcast on both) TV antenna I can find and a...

    OTA Broadcast Paths (Bounce) Wanted

It's for real There is such a program that does what I'm looking for I think, I just can't remember what it was called. I remember using something close to it 20 years ago at the county communications center. you would type in your starting point, your ending point. and the program would run a...

    OTA Broadcast Paths (Bounce) Wanted

I am looking for a website (or the name of a program) that will allow input of (a) broadcast antenna location , and (b) location of receive antenna, and thereby show me how the TV signal is reaching my location and what it is bouncing off of during it's path ie: broadcasters are in San...

Anyone seen a 12VDC DTV Converter yet?

Poor performance Any other suggestions folks? There is a merchant group testing converter boxes and so far the Artec T3A (which operates off 12VDC) has had three failures. It appears it doesn't like heat. After 36-48 of always-on, the incoming signal starts to get degreated. Thanks for the...

Anyone seen a 12VDC DTV Converter yet?

Power loss I prefer to use 12VDC direct instead of the 12VDC to 120VAC inverter to power the DTV Converter as my system is 100% battery & solar powered so can not afford to waste power on an inverter when I don't have to. Thanks for the input though. Slyclops

    Used Notch Filter Wanted

Thanks for all your suggestions. I'm gonna go with the NF470 and my A/B switch. The spec's on the NF470 say it eliminates UHF channels 19-23, which is good for me cause 23 is what I want to take out, but, the specs also state that the NF470 eliminates frequency 499.25 - 523.25, which according...

    Used Notch Filter Wanted

Re: Filters Hey AntAntMike, Thanks for responding. My zip is 95407 and I live in Santa Rosa, California. I am on the very fringes of the TV station reception from the San Francisco Bay Area. I could loose Channels 20-26 if the filter had 'F' connections on it, that way I could just use an A-B...

    Used Notch Filter Wanted

Anyone have a source for a used 524-530 MHz notch filter with 'F' connector ends? I am trying to take out a nearby UHF TV station that is overpowering my antenna amp and making it hard to receive distant OTA UHF TV stations. Thanks. Slyclops
