I have the 1.18 firmware (downloaded from this forum) The stutter occurs on any channel. I've had it on RTN, ONN, NBC Satops. I'll load the 1.19 and see if it helps, otherwise, I might just have to contact the manufacturer. JT

Just got mine today, yeah!!!! Wondering if there is a trick to speeding up the blind scan. I was using a Traxis 4550 (until it fried) and blind scan was about 5 min per sat. This receiver seems to take closer to 15 or 20 min. Thoughts???? JT

Update on my situation: I tried a clean install of the most recent software (Thanks for the link!), but it had no effect on the issue at hand. The new software is a plus, though. I tried letting the channel run for a half hour or so, but the sync never got any better. I'm viewing it...
