interesting observation... we're having a bit of a thunderstorm right now - light rain but with large raindrops, but thick dark clouds in the line of sight to 99W. I could see the SNR on the 90cm dish go down faster than on the 6-footer, and the 2dB difference was at some point more than 5dB...

Regular Hoppers work with regular LNBs. Hopper 3s need a hybrid environment and require either a hybrid LNB or a hybrid 42 switch to introduce it.

I just thought there were ViPs and then Hoppers, and that you either upgraded to Hopper or stuck with ViP. Do Hopper upgrades require an LNBF change? Is this some kind of "in-between" Hopper designed to work without any other system changes, as like a direct rx swap?

iirc it requires the same OTA module as the 722k. Good luck finding one today though.

This wouldn't be a cause for your dish not receiving, but my instructions say your jack is on the wrong tab on the mount. Since you're west of Denver, the jack should go to the other tab. Added: Forget this. I never realized Albuquerque is almost due south of Denver. I thought it was further west.
