    I have found that the newer D* receivers including the HR10-250 get overloaded with IR real easily. Try moving the flasher furthur away if your IR sender isnt adjustable output wise.

    D* has changed their website and it doesnt show my commitment anymore. Does anyone know where to look on the website. I dont want to call and ask because maybe in the format change they dumped the fact that my commitment should be thru Feb of 2008.

    You should have RG-6 for any satellite or digital tv reception whether its mpeg2 or 4.

    I had the same problem but only on ESPN2HD,HDnet & DSC but it has now cleared up for me. It seems to happen every springtime for a couple days. It was only Sat B. Here is a list of what is on where transponder & LNB wise. http://www.widemovies.com/dtvtransponders.html PS I'm in Rockford

    I disagree. Why wait? He is going to get his locals OTA. Plus D* has said that they will upgrade everyone at no or little to no cost which at this rate he wont need to do for a couple years. Also most people prefer Tivo's interface to other set top DVR's.

    It's basically just the technical name for OTA guide data sent out by the stations. I did the easy scan and im not getting anything accept the info from the D* channels
