    DVR canceling programs by itself!

    Sometimes, my DVR cancels recording by itself. The usual message: This episode was canceled because it did not match your show type settings in the guide (13) WHAT show type settings? Not sure what this means. Any ideas? This seems to happen to individual episodes of series programs. Wondering...

    HR21 recordings all grey screen

    That happened to me a few times, too. Turns out the DVR "forgot" it was a DVR, somehow losing it's permissions, and was functioning strictly as a receiver. Had to do a reset to fix it. The last time, I did an upload of permissions from the website (it's buried in the support pages somewhere)...
