It has the satellite software on it but not the streaming software on it. Supposedly there are ways to revert it back to the streaming software. Also DIRECTV might tell you to return it when you cancel.

I am moving later in the year and instead of having to worry about installing a dish, I am going to stick with them but for streaming. I currently have a C71KW-400. Can I keep that and continue to use it but for streaming?

Side note (again lol): I got a motorized Ku dish working the past few days. It's a former Dish network dish (was my grandmothers), it's approx 22"x28" oval, similar to the Slimline. Using a SG2100 motor. I flipped the mount upside down like I've read in previous threads and have it fairly well...

It depends on where in Texas you are located. You may be outside of the beam. Go to SatStar.net - Satellite Data and check the footprint for the Caribbean H/V Beam (Ku). Did you get any signal at all (for example on the stronger French service transponders)?

4178R 1870 has stronger signal but no channels found. Perhaps it is data TP. Yep, I got the dielectric plate inserted. I can't lock 4132 R even after tweaking the dish a bit. Maybe I need a larger dish to catch that :D . Anyone here can lock 4132 R 30000 on 34.5W?

Have you inserted a dielectric slab in your LNB since this satellite has circular transponders? That transponder has a C/N lock value of just 1.0 dB so it is the easiest C-band transponder on that satellite to receive. Anything on 4132 R 30000?

I have tried to use a side Ku LNB to my fixed 30W Hispasat dish, but unable to lock.

I am currently tuned to 34.5W C band. 4 AFN channels are listed in blind scan. 1- AFN Prime 2- AFN news 3- AFN Sports 4- AFN Sports 2

PIP has been enabled for the Android Joey 4s for a few months now. If your Joey 4 was recently installed it should get an update shortly which enables it.
