The recording trick does work to clean up the audio so it sounds good. I have many folders of IPTV channels, but these were all set up using the iptv-org playlists plugin. On an Edision Mio+, I forget (or never knew) how to set up just one IPTV channel.

TNAP7 is official! I recommend flashing it via online method into a spare slot and trying it out. Probably best NOT to restore backup settings if upgrading from prior versions. Start with a clean slate.

I use a 128 GB USB memory stick. I'd always intended to get a USB SSD external drive. But the stick works so well that I never got around to it. I do image and system settings backups as well as record shows to it.

I record regularly (every night) using the latest TNAP7 image. No issues. I don't keep the recorded files after watching them. Maybe you have a non-TNAP related issue.

Obviously I was off my meds when I wrote this. There is lots on 103W C still.
