I replaced the LNB on my winegard auto dish with a dish pro LNB and have no problems receiving the 110, 119 or 129 sat, one at a time. I use a 211 with HDMI to the LCD in front and coax for the selector box. HD to the bedroom via coax is then 4-3 with borders top and bottom, but very viewable...
Got 616 overnight and my 622 seems to be the same. I did not have any problems with 615 other than a little lip sync on HD 5.1 channels feeding my Denon via optical. I'm not sure if its the 622 or my Samsung 52a650.

129 here in Colorado Springs CO only fades in very heavy rain. I think it went out 3 times this spring. 500 with DP dual 110 + DP dual 119 and a 500 with DP dual 129 feeding into a DP 34. 20' run to a 510, 40' run to a 211 and a 80' run to a 622. The 2 VIPs have very rare problems with the 129...
The same statements as made for the 622 when it first came out, and look at it now. I've had mine 15 months and not one single problem so far, just give the 612 time and it will be fine. Look how the complaints have dropped down to just a few a week.
Same here on CBS and we lose 5.1 for 2.0. They take great pride in running these warnings for hours on end. I don't watch too much of ABC or NBC so no comment on these.
My SD is just fine and I do watch HD most of the time. My 55" Mits. 6 year old RPTV at 12 ' has a great SD pic from my 622. I watch SD via S-video and HD thru Component which still has the wow factor. You might try a different input for SD.
Had a call on Mon. and set up appt. for today 12 - 5. Tech called at 1:30 to say he was on his way here and arrived a 2:00. Checked signal strength, 110 t11 60, 119 t11 67, 129 t11 40 then went out to dishes and found some jacket wires possible shorting across the pigtail on 129 cable entering...
Many more for me. AltudHD, FoxrmHD, A&E, TNT, HDNET, HDNMV, ESPN, ESPN2, UNIHD, HGTV, VS/GF, MHD, RAVE, RUSH, MNSTR, SCIEN, And locals OTA/622 = about a $1.25 / channel. Someday I hope to see SPEED and FX but I can wait with out asking when.
I beg to argue with you as my SD PQ is pretty darn good and much better than any VCR ever produced. The 622 feeding my Mits 55" via component at 1080i then stretching the SD to 16x9 gives very good PQ. It takes a little tweaking and trial and error of all settings but can be done. And yes I do...
