No it's an ultra so no wi fi, was curious if you could use a program like easy tether to tether phone to box like you can a computer. Even if you could im not sure it would have enough speed for the box. Haven't seen anything on this subject. Like ya said prolly wont work.
So FreeDbs didn't follow thru with their commitment. I figured it was too good to be true. Was an explanation given, or was it money under the table from the big boys just to go away quietly as I predicted from the get go?
Yeah I have a 7 1/2 footer, but wasn't sure if it would be big enough to catch what signals were below 50.0 w. I just don't know what's out there and how strong the signals are.
Yeah I do have a 7.5' but figured I would need my 10 to get the most signal especially that far east and also I would like to keep it because some of the signals I am already on the brink of not getting. I will have to set it up and see, I may do that. Would have liked to have known how much was...
Well Like I said I can get pretty much get everything west all the way east to 50.0, I'm thinking of moving the dish westward on the property to where I will have a better view to the east, which I think will give me about 25 to 30 degrees more which should put me down to 20.0 to 25.0 w. I said...
Now that it is cooling down I am getting ready to move my 10 ' dish. Where it sits now I am limited to about 50.0 w. When I move it I still won't have full spectrum but should gain maybe 25 to 30 degrees. Is it worth the move? I know I will have to go circular, How much more do ya think I will...
Wish I could help you with the actuator but as far as the dish, What I do is position dish where ya want it then tighten the bolts at your hinge if you have the ability to do so, then take your actuator loose.
I too have a 10' button hook and I have the guy wires attached. I fiddled with mine forever to get where I am now which is moderately happy, but I can't leave well enough alone so when it cools a bit I am moving it to another location so I can receive sats further east. To be able to work on the...
I'm sweating just reading the posts. I'm moving mine as well but I can wait till it cools a bit because I have to get in the attic also and in Texas that is a big mistake this time of year! May not make it out!!!! Just dig around the concrete deep enough so that you can work the pole back and...
Still trying to comprehend how these strips come together as a dielectric plate. Anybody? I'm looking at trying to add some sats further to the east that are circular with the least loss, but Pens solution is too awesome for me to handle at this time.
Dang, Now you guys have me really torn, Haha. I already have an old 10' wider mesh dish dedicated to c band, and I have a newer in really good shape 7.5 fine meshed dish that I thought would do well with ku band. I have my ku setup currently with a 31" solid motorized and it does fairly well. I...
I live in Texas, was wondering if I would actually pick up anything more by using a 7.5 fine mesh bud dish and having to go thru the extensive setup process or would a 39" solid dish get pretty much everything out there?
ok on my pansat it is 3981 v 29271, blue ocean network, mexico tv, telefe, canella, canal sur. was getting these channels in the clear but now only blue ocean, and canella. according to lyngsat under digicipher 2 its 3940 v 29270
I have a Pansat 9200, I blind scanned galaxy 23 and picked up a few channels that are listed at lyngsat under a digicipher 2 column. I thought you had to have a 4dtv receiver to get those. Am I wrong in this thinking?
Yep, just picture your arc. If you have to go up on east and down on west then rotate your dish mount to east or vice versa just a bit at a time till you dont have to adjust on either side.
Im gonna try the fan fix, but not convinced it will fix the prob. I had my pansat shutdown and booted it back up last night and it froze within 10 minutes before it had time to get hot.
