Dish H3 4K using splitter to two 4K sets

I recently installed a Sony VPL-VW 385 ES home theater projector & I decided to give Dish Network's 4K receiver, the Hopper 3, a try. As our theater is located some distance away from where the H3 is located I wasn't sure how our 50' long older HDMI cable would work. We rarely watch Dish Net in...

    Odd 4k channel 540 issue.

Hi everyone. I've been working to resolve an issue I have with my H3 with a Dish tech. The tech says he has not found any complaints such as mine & I thought I'd ask our forum members if they had a similar issue. During last summer's Olympics Dish offered free 4k on a dedicated channel but I...

Hopper 3: First the good news; then the bad news.

I...

Finally something to watch on in 4k on Dish but not!

Since the Olympics began I have been receiving channels 146-01 & 148-01 thinking I was watching true 4k. Well, today I was suspicious that it was true 4k so I did an info check with my Samsung TV & it said the input was 1080i. Suprise! Turns channels 146-01 & 148-01 are 4k but my 4x HDMI...

Hopper 3 using 52.0 remote; need to switch to 40.0 remote

I purchased a Dish 40.0 remote to replace the 52.0 remote that came with Hopper 3. I had assumed all I needed to do was to install the batteries & the 40.0 remote would work. Nope! Apparently it's not that easy. Anyone know how?
