The more I think about it the more I think it may not be feasible for me. My coax feed comes into my garage attic, and splits to all of the different rooms from there. So unless this thing has an operating temp range from about 0F-120F, I'd have to do some tricky cabling to make things work.

FTR, I am *not* a fan of having to type in a password every time I want to delete a recording after I'm done watching it. I understand (and kind of like) having a password to watch adult-rated content, but is there no way to choose what you want protected and what you don't?

Dropped mine yesterday. I liked the movie channels, but wasn't watching them enough to justify the $10. I like the flexibility to do so - when Platinum was "free", there was no way I was dropping HD to save 10 bucks!
