Trucker just make sure you get a scalar ring with the lnbf. It is the the scalar ring that attaches the lnbf to the dish.

I just checked the signal and it is there ITC on AMC7-18. Be forwarned that NASA seems to have a lot weaker signal on that satellite for North American users. There is supposed to be new signals availible in MPEG/FTA on AMC 6 soon.

BEV ch. 287-290 are Seattle locals. Did you take the $1 option for the extra set of nets which aren`t included in the Total TV Combo? The same thing happened to me last year when I switched to the TTC and I lost 1 set of nets until I called in and had to pay the extra $1.

Shawn I use a C/Ku lnbf on my 10 ft. BUD. I think they would work good for you guys and your mini BUD project. :yes You can also get a scalar ring to use with the c/ku lnbf that has a built in dss lnbf. The best of all three. Here are some pictures of the lnbf and scalar ring.

Maddawg I`m in the same boat as you looking for a decent deal on a 1.2m to 1.8m offset dish in Canada. I got my 1m dish on E-bay a couple of years back for $30.

Mojo I had a neighbour call me a couple of weeks back with the exact same problem. No E5 update on a 2700 receiver. I talked to BEV on their behalf and tried the usual things like pulling the smartcard, switchchecks, etc. No go. The tech told me to turn off the receiver for the night and sure...

I don`t remember where I got this picture but it looks cool.

I live in Alberta, Canada and got the phone call from BEV about a month ago asking for location ID`s on all 4 of my receivers. Yep 3 are plugged into phone lines at all times. That was the first time in 7 or 8 years with BEV.
