I have a D10-300 standard receiver and every 2 hours or so a message on my tv screen appears asking me if I am ready to download a software upgrade. When I indicate 'yes', it reboots the receiver rather than downloading anything. This has happened on other receivers in the house and it worked...

What an odd "promotion". It's good to know that I'm paying for other's free gifts. If loyalty for 2 years is not good enough, then I'll have to go somewhere else.
