you cannot own a TWC box. They will barely let you own a modem. Their boxes stink any anyway. if you want to own your own equipment- get a tivo or setup a pc. we are saving big $$$$ this way.

it probably has more to do with the cable cards. a tivo will not have any cable channel in HD without it. the roku, otoh, works just fine.

The roku works amazingly well on TWC. we have 3 tivos and 3 rokus. if they find a way to incorporate a dvr feature with the roku app, then there will be no need for a cable box.

they would probably still argue with you since Uverse provides television via that medium.... and a phone cord is still a "cord" you may be using to watch television..... was dumb enough to get stuck in a few of those exchanges.... LOL

yep. if you talk to hard core cord cutters, they are all about mobile / free wifi. they get rowdy if someone refers to themselves as a cord cutter but still have their cable modem.... LOL.

Most of those refer to strictly mobile. their numbers are low, though, because as Ice has noted- mobile data is limited.

all the 311 receivers we have worked with only had one SAT connection and no TV2 output connections. guess the "k" makes all this difference since these are listed as remanufactured. you are probably spot on about the 211n..... lol

That is what was strange. It still had both tuners, and even showed the error for tuner2 after running the check switch. The software did not include any of the options for tv2. clearly it is a neutered 322.
