    I see TWC point. When I had Directv I would only watch the 3 or 4 Thursday night games, never the rest of the year. I switched because TWC gave me an offer I could not refuse.

    Today it will be 30 m minus 1, going to cable with triple play. Will miss NFL channel, won't miss cloud, rain fade. I would be out, neighbor would still be on.

    Thanks for the reply, it magically fixed it self. At one point I seemed to be not getting HD channels, I had to switch to SD.

    TWC offered me tv, phone and rr for $79 a month for 2 years. My tv has no headset plug, I use the sat box red, white plugs. Can I plug into the TWC box, if not, I'm screwed.

    I have had no plan since 2006, any problems I had were repaired no charge. That has been 5 visits including the initial setup.

    Well he went into a long spiel about it, said you would be able to take your tv to the garage and it would work. Also mentioned it would cut down on his work load, like not good for him. He also said they would install a pocket on the tv back to hold the wireless unit, seemed to know a lot.

    Tech just left house and told me D* is going wireless this spring, no more running wires all over the house. A wireless unit will go with the tv. Did a search and nothing about wireless.

    I 06 when D* was installed the tech wanted to tap into my cable system, I said no way some of the cable is 35 years old.

    When I had TW RR installed recently, the installer just cut the 2 feeds and they were solid copper. I do have a micrometer, I will check.

    I have a lot of cable I removed from under my porch, when adelphia rewired my town they hooked on opposite end of house. It was rewire about 03-04, no markings except adelphia CDR and feet #. I wonder if this could be RG6?

    I just switched my internet to Time Warner RR, in my first bill it stated we like checks. I wonder if that is a dig to D* wanting everyone on auto pay.

    $300 bucks to upgrade to HD???

    I have been with D* since 2006. I have had 4 pro visits for various reasons, initial install, locals available in my area finally, added receiver + HD, guide not working new 3LNB. I was never charged one dime for any of the 4 visits, gotta like D*.

    I have 2 receivers, one is used sparingly. The gift on our main receiver ran out. To my surprise the seldom used receiver which is unplugged most of the time still is running the free movie channels. It must be by receiver time when turned on, is what they are using for 3 month free.

    Here is the setup. 03: slimeline 3lnb 02: multiswitch Below, don't use BBC. Yes, just 2 receivers, H21-100. The wires go from the lnb to the picture I posted and to the receivers, no other units.
