There was an update to both the iPhone & iPad versions this morning and they have all but made them useless to me. There is now no ability to simply show a list of movies (all or HD) coming on Today or Later, all you have is the Guide view which is clumsy and difficult to view as a table...

money grab $29.99, won't work with older slingbox's (because they just don't want to, it worked in beta testing), and only works on wifi, not 3G.... All adds up to a loser to me. Time will tell.

Oh, wow! I never thought of that... I've been using a custom list FOREVER, and always having to keep and eye or ear out for new channels, but the worst was searching for movies! Having to look through 3 listings of each movie (SD, HD lower, HD upper). Thanks for the channel blocking idea!!!

PS3 won't decode HD audio, it passes it via HDMI to capable receiver. Also, if you have a PS3, why do you need a dvd player?

What model of Onkyo do you have? Are you sure it won't play the sound from your HDMI input? Of course, I guess you would have noticed the DolbyTRUE-HD and DTS-HD icons on the box and/or receiver.
