Does anyone know if there are plans to add the Dish Anywhere app to Apple TV? Or is there a reason why i can get it on my iphone, ipad, firestick and fire tablet - but not AppleTV.?

i called dish last night and they confirmed with me that it wasn't meant to have a 2nd hd or widescreen tv on the 2nd tuner. what i see and redsalmon thought, that is just the way it works. after speaking with the csr while at work i was holding out hope.

the picture is definitely distorted, i can pause the tv and watch the picture change from normal(4x3) and then add on to the sides with with letterbox. I guess if letterbox would come through as normal, i would be fine.(if that makes sense)

thanks, i called dish from work of course and i am not in front of my tv so they didn't want to help. but they tell me it should work if i do it right. i guess i'll call them tonight from home and report back any thing that i find out.

I am to a Dish Sub in St. Louis. VS was blacked out on Dish, but I understand Uverse had it on. i called dish during cfb season about and espn blackout game (co vs fl st) in st. louis and they tell that the network does the blocking out. now if that is the case, how did uverse get this game?

i had the same issue in st. louis. i called and spoke with three different people and all were clueless. i did not check that channel, but looked at all the regionals and did not see it. i guess i will know next time.

i have noticed this on just about all the cbs shows while watching on the dvr with what we have seen so far this season.
