I solved my problem Simply took the advice and extended the receiver remote antenna with a piece of coax...viola! Thanks guys!

No luck Tried it Claude, but no luck. Here is what I tried.....I pressed the TV button until it stayed on, pressed the power button and then the channel up. Pressed channel up 25-30 times.
