Multi sat 5 lnb isn't a choice. there are a lot of other choices (18), should it say slimline? It also says that bbc's should not be hooked up. I'm very confused.

I thought it would select the dish on its own. When it didn't work (multiple times) I tried to select the correct dish, but I'm not sure which one to try. I tried a couple different ones, but not sure what is correct. I have done my own install in the past but have never had any trouble...

the standard reciever is getting all the channels from 101. should the HR22 be getting any signal on any satellites?

This may be a dumb question, but should I get anything at all without the bband. The receiver doesn't pick up any signal from the satellite. I just want to make sure that the receiver isn't bad. thanks

Do I need a bband converter? I have a satellite with one round white thing with four cables coming from it, it says slimline on it (3 lnb I think). I have a hr22-100 HD DVR that doesn't find any signal when set up. A standard reciever has great strength, all transponders above 94 except one...

I have an HR 22 DVR and am trying to use it with an 18" round sat, I hook it up and select the 18" round but it doesn't aquire the satelite. I know the connection is good because it works with an SD receiver. Am I missing something in the receiver options to find the sat? I'm not worried...

I got everything set up, but it didn't work. I tried telling it to use the 18" round but it gets to a screen that has a progress bar and stays at 0%. I borrowed a neighbors standard receiver and it worked fine so I know that the dish and wiring is hooked up correctly. Am I missing something...
