I watched Conan in HD last night but it didnt seem like HD..The show stayed in 4:3 but just had black bars on the top and bottom along with the sides.. Is it just me? When you guys watched conan was the screen full? Please let me know!

Frustrating the hell out of me..Comcast SD isnt as good as DirecTV..but their HD lineup with INHD1,2..TNT-HD!..plus everything DirecTV HD has.. As soon as my contract runs out i'm really considering to jump ship.. ALL I WANT is TNT-HD for the PLAYOFF GAMES!!!

After months and months of finding a OTA antenna that would pick up signals here in south eastern massachusetts..i found one that gets me every channel with some exeptions. First of all, My FOX-HD OTA works good but as soon as the clock hits 9PM...it starts getting choppy with the "Searching...

This has happend two weeks in a row for me..while watching Tilt on ESPN IN HD...the screen starts to chop and the synchronization gets all crappy and its unbearable...and i have to watch it in SD... I have the Samsung 360 reciever i think.. anyone else with this problem?? Thanks...

I am watchin the Boston Celtics on FSN and it says available in HD for comcast viewers. I was just wondering if DirecTV will be getting FSN in HD any time if at all? If anyone can point me to any sites or information that would be appreciated ! Thanks

Dino- Yah man I just wish i could get decent standard definition quality. I didn't notice anywhere on my reciever or anywhere in the manual itself where it says "DNIe" or any sort of combonation to made the sd better. I may just be very picky but after spending a lot of money on this...

Dino- thanks for your help..i managed to set it to Pillar...but still have a question about the resolutions..I have hte same HD reciever as you..and I dont see any DLP thing in the back which you were talking about..on the front of the reciever it says RESOLUTION and you can change from 480 i/p...

I dont seem to have the options on my tv to change it.. I can only go to Theater Mode(s) 1,2,3 and natural..Full is grayed out..i cant put any black bars around it or anything..if that was the case I would I just thought the image would be clear and not so stretched out that it is almost...

yah..sorry forgot to give details My HDTV is a 52" Toshiba DLP HDTV...the weird thing is..the same thing is happening to my 36" Toshiba(6-7 year old tv)..with the regular reciver..I don't see any digital quality, i see below analog..its verry depressing to look at!

Hey guys..I'm back again after finally getting my direcTV set up ...i run into HUGE problems. After activating DirecTV, I tuned into the channels and they all came in Blurry and terrible quality. I thought it might be just 1 channel, I was wrong. It turns out, every channel I turn too does...

The only problem was i wasn't really interested in dishing out another 150 for an outdoor antenna which is bulky, wasn't the direction I was looking to go in..but I have to thank the DirecTV reps for raising my spirits so high, only to drop them so low..no big deal.. I am just glad to dump cable
