yes If I run a cable from the 722 to my router it gets an IP.. so it has something to do with the gaming adapter and the 722. I dont know what is different as this adapter works on the 622...

No one knows why?? it is a NETGEAR WGE111 which worked 100% on the 622 BUT on the 722 it wont pick up an IP address and I can not go to one of my PC's and enter in the IP (I set it to a static IP).... HOWEVER, I can plug it into a laptop and it works just fine!

Well, I just had an issue with my 622 and they came and installed a 722.. on the 622 I had a gaming adapter connected to the ethernet port and then it made it wireless. Worked great... HOWEVER.. ON the 722, it doesnt work.. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY? the installer told me ANY USB wireless adapter...

Actually I am MAD that I can get all the HD channels EXCEPT the new ones because of a tree where a dish for 72 gets pointed.. this is actually going to make me thing about switching.. I dont know if DTV is any better ... FIOS isnt available in my area yet..

Im confused.. the current installed said He would be replacing my 2 current dishes with one eastern ARC dish that gets all 3 satellites BUT a tree was in the way for the 72 satellite..the 1st guy that came out said THe tree might be in the way but installing a 3rd dish should solve the issue...

same This is the same problem I have which just recently started.. I only have one HDTV hooken up .. I have it set to stretch SD channels and every day it says STRETCH but its not and I have to school through the 622 modes to get it back correct..

Nope Unplugged the unit and let it sit for 30 mins.. turned it back on.. Same issue... It also doesnt hold the STRETCH even though it says STRETCH on the left ... I have to go through all the modes and back to stretch for SD.... any other ideas?
