    I was going through the Sonic channels to pull out the ones I wouldn't listen to and somehow the artist/title info disappeared. At first the screen would flash the description of the channel (but not long enough to read it) and then it would post the artist, title, etc. I hit the info button...

    I'm a little confused on this. On the Directv website it shows that you choose: DVR sevice fee $7 HD service fee $10 (now free) OR Whole Home DVR + HD service $10 I took that to mean that the DVR fee is replaced by the MRV + DVR + HD fee if you go that route. Am I wrong?

    Am I considered a new customer if I have been gone from Directv for almost two years? I would assume so since I have no equipment. Thanks for all your help everyone. I have a much better idea of what I have to work with now.

    So how does it work if I go through a retailer? Would I have to pay for the DVR? I went that route before and don't really want to have to pay for something that Directv should "rent" to me anyway. And as always, money is an issue . . . I'm in MN, by the way. Thanks!
