Can someone tell me a reason other than DTV doesn't want you to have move than on genie box?

Found problem. I had the Banner clear set to 2 sec's. Changed it back to 4 sec's and everything works fine. Evidently 2 sec's is to fast for the box. Maybe DTV will fix the problem soon.

I just received another new Genie HR-44-700 today and I still have the same problem changing the channel from the remote # pad. It can take up to 4 or 5 time of entering the channel # from the key pad on the remote to get the channel to change. This is the second new box with the same problem...

After I downloaded 552 on my HR21-700 ,I started getting this big red bar on the screen when I use the fast forward buttons. It only occurs on the HR21 and not my HR23 or HR22. It is random. I tried different HDMI cables and inputs, made no difference. Only happens on recordings. Any ideas?

Whats the deal with the extra + channel on some of the HD channels? example A&EHD, then +A&EHD. HR22-700 and HR21-700 , my HR20 got different software (04D7) not 04Fe.
