Excellent, thanks guys. I am relatively new to Dish and didn't know I could even get DHPP on a receiver I did not buy directly from them (i.e. off ebay). Is there a certain amount of time I have to wait before making a claim with DHPP, like a initial waiting period of some kind?

That's excellent! I assumed you had to buy directly for them and because mine was off eBay I was out of luck. Is it because it's less than one year old it's under warranty regardless of where you buy?

I bought it new off eBay I'm not leasing it from Dish. It is registered with them as my 3rd receiver though. It's 8 months old. Will they still replace it for $49 even though I own and not lease?

Hi guys, On Friday my VIP722 shut down, kept rebooting endlessly. I did some reading on here and decided to unplug it and leave it. In the morning (7 hours later) I plugged it back in and it booted up normal. It ran on saturday until about 5pm when it shut down and started the reboot cycle...

Ok, I will check the fittings first. Also, the middle LNB on my Dish 1000+ does the 118.7 and 119, correct? If it were an LNB problem would 119 be giving me problems as well?

So if I've got a signal of 0 on 118.7 Transponder 26 then it's for sure a dish pointing issue?

Not caused by weather, these channels have not come in for over a month now and we've had very clear weather for most of that time. Ok, did some testing. Error is 002 Signal has been lost on Transponder 26 Satellite _____ (blank). That's what it says when try one of the channels on 118.7 26...

Thank you, I see it now. Looks like 118.7 Transponder 26 is only for ethnic channels of which I only have the Arabic. Does anybody have any channels on 118.7 Transponder 26 and can confirm that they are or are not working? I figure if somebody else has the same problem then it's not a dish...

Thanks for the feedback. I just checked the EKB channel list quickly to see but can't seem to find any other (non-arabic) channels on 118.7 transponder 26 so I can test those for comparison. Does anybody know of another standard programming channel on 118.7 26? Or can I test 129 26 for...
