    if rain fade is an issue, it's going to be a bigger issue if you was running a EA setup as the sats arent as powerful as the west so those(72/77/61.5) so they drop much faster, but if your hell bent on flipping arc's a dish 500 can be aimed @ 72/61 ..if your 110/119 isnt in the 60's-80's on most...

    for the box in a different room you can order a slinglink which will use the elect wiring in the home to stream the net to the vip boxes, CS may comp u on it, if not be prepared to couch up about 50 but since they want all subs connected via broadband i'm sure they will send u it for free

    if 110 is workin and 119 is out then yes u need a repeak or u have a los issue and to answer ya org question, yes you can point a d500 on EA, you'll pick up 61.5/72...

    did i read that there is a DPP 44 in the install, if so thats the problem....if he locked on to 72 on the sat and id'ed that is was there and it's @ the back on the box and assuming there isnt a dpp 44 then it's the software in the box...i would have downloaded the 722 anyway to see if it would...

    far as i know it isn't possible to get an eastern arc into the 60's and 70's....@ least not in nj it isn't..i assume it has to do with the age of the sats or there location
