    In the network settings does it show that it is connected to the internet? Menu Setup System Setup Info & Test then scroll down and check if it says it is connected to the internet.

    The box is leased if it is failing they should replace it. If you can talk them into doing it without someone coming there all it will cost you is $20 shipping.

    It lets you watch all the RSN's you get to see all the local sports shows and stuff like that. Thats about it. I like in NY and sometimes watch the sports shows in the Chicago area

    If is says YES is part of your RSN you will have YES and Yankee games without the sports pack. With the sports pack if you don't live in the YES RSN you will get all the RSN's but the games will be blacked out unless you have the MLB package.

    There are no fees to add and drop the sport packages. You don't even need to call them, you can do it online if you set up you account online. It is very easy. You may even be able to drop you free Starz & Showtime online.

    HD-DVR Problem

    So you are watching live tv when it happens if so try to pause it for 1 second and then play. I have had audio dropouts on one of my HR20's when watching a show and catching up to the live feed. I ust pause it for a sec and hit play and it is fine from there.

    Do you mean when it is paused it comes on or when you are watching a show on tv? If it is when you are watching a show there is something wrong and I would call them and ask them.

    How do you get DoD?

    You must have an H20 not HR20. You can't get DOD without a DVR. That is how they do it. You connect the DVR to your high speed internet connection and download from DTV to you DVR.

    That was my plan, I plan on canceling on the phone though and letting them know that I have been paying for HD for 3 years and now that they have added content they split the pack up and charge extra. RENTENTION here I come!!!

    When you use VOD with cable you are downloading it from the servers at your cable company The only real difference is that with DTV it is using a either you DSL cable modem or FIOS

    I had a simlar problem but the channels were lost at different times of the day. DTV changed the dish then the Multi switch still NG. Finally checked the cables between the dish & switch and found a bad cable. Installed a new one and have not had a problem since then.

    They only charge 1 DVR fee per account. I have three HR20's & 1 R15 DVR. I don't pay the fee because it is included in the package I have but they only charge it once.

    At least you are spending money on a team with a chance. I am a dolphin fan in NYC so I have spent the money for nothing the last few years!!! LOL Well I am a football fan as well so I do watch all the games I can. Also I am not stuck with the Jets & Giants every week.

    wireless internet connection for vod

    1.)The reason is for On Demand programing. 2.)Set the ip up through your PC for DHCP or set the IP to what you want. You would also need to add any security you have on your router. WEP address and things like that. 3.)You would need a Buffalo gaming adapter seeing as it has 4 ports.
